ABOUT
Joseph Larsen is an American Hard Rock Drummer hailing from the streets of Salt Lake City, Utah who has toured the local and national music scenes. His impressive skills, versatility and professionalism have provided opportunities to tour the country with numerous established acts and to work as a studio session musician. With influences such as John Bohnam, Tommy Lee, and Tommy Aldridge, his heavy hitting landed him in his first band, DIADEM, in 1995. Joseph played bars and taverns around the local scene before moving to Los Angeles in 2012 to join the glam goth rock band Gene Loves Jezebel, fronted by Michael Aston, to finish the Lost 80’s Live Tour. Following the tour, Joseph moved on to a fill in gig with Las Vegas band Sin City Sinners in 2013.
In 2014, Joseph joined forces with Pink Velvet Krush featuring guitarist Greg Polcari, formerly of Britny Fox. His career continued to grow, leading to a stint with Rockerz Gone Wild Miami Beach Bash opening for Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel. In 2017, Joseph joined the hard rock Dallas Texas band Brand New Machine. Midyear, he returned to Los Angeles to play in Soundcheck Live, sharing the stage with Steve Ferlazzo, keyboardist for Avril Lavigne, Soon after, he rocked the stage at the famous Whisky a Go Go as part of the Ultimate Jam Night Tribute To Guns & Roses in Hollywood, California.
Joseph recorded at the prestigious Spider Studios in 2017 with Oblivea on their hit single “Misery Loves Company.” He also appeared with the band at Ohio Bike Fest that same year, opening for Mushroomhead. Following his departure, he joined the Las Vegas rock group Bakers Dozen in 2018. In 2021, Joseph expanded his reach with Country/Rock band Outlaws & Moonshine in recording multiple singles and playing in direct support for Moonshine Bandits. Later that year, he joined Mark Boals, formerly of Yngwie Malmsteen, as founding members of the hard rock group supergroup. Joseph departed the group in 2023 for freelance work and will soon light the world on fire yet again. Stay tuned, more to come!
